Updated traffic and public transport situation
**********************************************
The Transport Department (TD) today (October 11) reminded members of the public to pay attention to the traffic situation and the latest public transport service arrangement this morning before starting their journey.

As at 5.30am, the latest public transport situation is as follows:

(I) MTR

All stations (except Light Rail) provide service today. However, some of the entrances/exits and facilities of individual MTR stations will suspend service as the recovery work is still in progress.

Except the Airport Express Line, the services of other lines will end at 10pm.

In addition, Light Rail vehicles will not stop at Yau Oi, Tin Wing, Ginza, Tin Wu, Tin Tsz and Tin Shui Wai stops.

(II) Franchised bus, ferry and tramway

Services of franchised bus, ferry and tramway remain normal.

Meanwhile, some 20 sets of damaged traffic lights in various districts have yet to resume operation after days of emergency repair. Motorists and pedestrians are advised to be patient and pay attention to road safety when passing through the affected junctions.

The TD is closely monitoring the traffic situation and is committed to maintaining normal operation of traffic facilities.

Members of the public are advised to stay alert to the latest traffic news and allow more time for travel. For details of the above public transport arrangements, members of the public can visit the TD's website or get the information through the TD's mobile application "HKeMobility".
