Early closure of methadone clinics today

     Taking into consideration the limited transportation services available, and to ensure the safety of patients and staff members, the Department of Health today (October 7) announced that the operation arrangement of its methadone clinics today has been adjusted. Details are as follows:

     The operation hours of the following clinics remain unchanged:

     1. Ho Man Tin Methadone Clinic
     2. Eastern Street Methadone Clinic
     3. Cheung Chau Methadone Clinic
     4. Wu York Yu Methadone Clinic
     5. Aberdeen Methadone Clinic
     6. Tai Po Methadone Clinic
     7. Shek Wu Hui Methadone Clinic

     The following clinics will provide service until 4pm:

     1. Violet Peel Methadone Clinic
     2. Sham Shui Po Methadone Clinic
     3. Lady Trench Methadone Clinic
     4. Robert Black Methadone Clinic

     The rest of the clinics will not open.

     Those who have been receiving methadone treatment at the affected clinics can receive their daily dose at other methadone clinics. Subject to the situation in the community, the operating hours of methadone clinics may be further adjusted today.
