Please broadcast the following message as soon as possible and repeat it at suitable intervals:
 
     A large group of rioters today (October 4) continues to damage public properties and buildings extensively across Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories. They have also damaged shops, occupied roads and set fire at facilities, trains and ATM machines in various MTR stations.
      
     Some rioters even attacked a police officer by throwing petrol bombs twice and attempted to take away his pistol dropped on the ground.
      
     In view of situation, Police is deploying appropriate force to disperse the rioters.

     Police warn all rioters to stop all illegal acts and leave immediately.  Since the situation is deteriorating, Police appeal to all members of the public to stay in safe places and stay tuned to the latest situation.
