The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) announced today (October 4) that due to special circumstances nearby, Hong Kong Park Sports Centre, Hong Kong Squash Centre, Hong Kong Park and the Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens in Central and Western District; Kowloon Park in Yau Tsim Mong District; North District Town Hall and Sheung Shui Public Library in North District; Sha Tin Town Hall and Sha Tin Public Library in Sha Tin District; Tai Po Civic Centre in Tai Po District; Tsuen Wan Town Hall in Tsuen Wan District; Tuen Mun Town Hall and Tuen Mun Public Library in Tuen Mun District; and the Yuen Long Theatre and Yuen Long Public Library in Yuen Long District have been closed. Moreover, Hong Kong City Hall, the Hong Kong Space Museum and the Yau Ma Tei Theatre will be closed early at 7pm.
 
     Subject to the situation, more cultural and leisure facilities in the same districts and any other districts which may be affected will also be closed early and at short notice to ensure the safety of venue users. Members of the public who plan to go to those venues are advised to contact the venues concerned or 1823 in advance.
