Police appeal protestors on Hong Kong Island to leave immediately

At around 1pm today (October 1), protestors have been occupying Hennessy Road of Causeway Bay and are proceeding to Admiralty. They are participating in an unauthorised assembly, which constitutes an illegal act.
Police appeal everyone to leave the scene as soon as possible. Due to the obstruction of traffic, members of the public are advised to avoid travelling to the area. Drivers should stay tuned to the latest traffic arrangement.
The report room services of Wan Chai Police Station are now temporarily suspended. In case of emergency, please call 999.
