Fatal traffic accident in Aberdeen

At about 10.20am, a bus driven by a 61-year-old man was travelling along Pok Fu Lam Road eastbound. When approaching the junction of Pok Fu Lam Reservoir Road and Pok Fu Lam Road, it reportedly knocked down the 21-year-old woman who was crossing the road.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the woman was rushed to Queen Mary Hospital in unconscious state where she was certified dead at 11.17am.
The bus driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death. He is being detained for further enquiries.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Hong Kong Island is underway.
