Tenders invited for Tseung Kwan O - Lam Tin Tunnel Free-flow Tolling System

The works are scheduled to commence in December 2019 and will take about 54 months to complete. The works mainly comprise:
* design, supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning for the Data Acquisition System at the Tseung Kwan O - Lam Tin Tunnel, the Backend System serving the Free-flow Tolling System at the Tseung Kwan O - Lam Tin Tunnel and other tolled roads/tunnels as specified, and associated works including utilities works, electrical and mechanical works, communication enhancement works and other related ancillary works; and
* three-year Backend System expansion works.
The CEDD has appointed Ove Arup & Partners Hong Kong Limited as the consultant to design and supervise the works. Interested contractors may obtain the forms of tender and further particulars from the company at Level 5, Festival Walk, 80 Tat Chee Avenue, Kowloon Tong.
The invitation to tender was gazetted today. The closing time for the tender is noon on November 15, 2019.
