In response to media enquiries yesterday (September 4), the Chief Executive's Office confirmed that the Secretary for Security will withdraw the Bill concerning the Fugitive Offenders Ordinance in accordance with Rule 64 of the Legislative Council Rules of Procedure by an announcement made in the Council when the Council resumes. There will be no voting or debate.
