Green transport benefits community

     Kowloon Motor Bus (KMB) has been upcycling its retired buses through donation while its innovative green technologies were commended at the 2018 Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence, including its solar-panelled double-deckers, green bus shelters and solar bus stop poles.

     News.gov.hk spoke to the principal and students of a primary school which received a donated bus to find out how the vehicle has enhanced pupils' learning experience, while a KMB assistant engineer explained the science behind its green transport innovations.
