Kwai Chung Police Station surrounded by protestors

A large group of protestors are currently surrounding Kwai Chung Police Station and aiming laser beams at Police officers, posing a serious safety threat to members of the public and police officers at scene.
After repeated warnings but in vain, in face of the situation, Police have deployed tear gas and used minimum force to disperse protestors outside Kwai Chung Police Station.
Police appeal to everyone in the area to leave immediately. Police express condemnation against all violent acts by protestors.
Police remind the residents in the vicinity to keep their windows closed, if necessary, and stay indoors.
