Protestors blocked Nathan Road and Tsim Sha Tsui Police Station Report Room service suspended

     A large group of protestors are gathering on the Park Lane Shopper's Boulevard, Tsim Sha Tsui, blocking the section of Nathan Road between Austin Road and Salisbury Road. This seriously affects emergency services for the public. Some protestors even hurled smoke bombs and hard objects, and aimed laser beams at Police officers.

     Having given repeated warnings to the protestors but in vain, Police officers have deployed tear gas and used minimum force to disperse protestors.

     Police appeal to everyone at scene to leave immediately and condemn all violent acts by the protestors. Residents of the area are advised to stay tuned to the latest situation and if necessary, keep their windows shut and stay indoors.

     Due to safety reasons, the Report Room service of Tsim Sha Tsui Police Station is temporarily suspended. In case of emergency, please call 999.
