FEHD clarification

     ​Referring to rumours about the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD) issuing internal instructions asking the staff not to take any action against "lennon walls" as they involved politics, the Department today (August 2) clarified that such claims are unfounded.  

     The Department has been monitoring the display of bills in various districts. Should there be serious environmental hygiene problem, the Department will handle the situation. No political consideration is involved whatsoever.
