Council meeting not to be held on June 17 and 18

In view of the Government's withdrawal of notice of resuming Second Reading debate on the Fugitive Offenders and Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters Legislation (Amendment) Bill 2019 at the Council meeting of June 12, the President of the Legislative Council has decided, pursuant to Rule 14(1) of the Rules of Procedure, that the aforementioned Council meeting originally scheduled for June 17 and 18 will not be held.
