SFH to attend first Global Health Forum of Boao Forum for Asia in Qingdao

The forum, co-organised by the Boao Forum for Asia and the Government of Shandong Province, will cover various topics including "Universal Healthcare Coverage", "Health in All Policies" and "Innovation" under the theme of "Health Beyond Health - In the Year of Sustainable Development 2030".
Professor Chan will attend the opening ceremony cum plenary session tomorrow, and take the opportunity to meet with the president of the Forum and the Honorary Director-General of the World Health Organization, Dr Margaret Chan.
Professor Chan will return to Hong Kong in the evening tomorrow. During her absence, the Under Secretary for Food and Health, Dr Chui Tak-yi, will be the Acting Secretary for Food and Health.
The Director of Health, Dr Constance Chan, will accompany Professor Chan on the visit.
