The Secretary for Transport and Housing, Mr Frank Chan Fan, visited Tsuen Wan District this afternoon (March 8) to keep abreast of the latest developments in the district.

     Accompanied by the District Officer (Tsuen Wan), Miss Jenny Yip, and the Chairman of the Tsuen Wan District Council, Mr Chung Wai-ping, Mr Chan observed the traffic situation on Tsuen Wan Road and was briefed by Transport Department representatives on the availability of parking spaces in the vicinity.

     Mr Chan then proceeded to the Yuen Yuen Care and Attention Home for the Aged, where he toured the facilities and was briefed about the services for the elderly.

     Mr Chan rounded off the visit by meeting with Tsuen Wan District Council members to exchange views on local transport and housing issues.
