Fatal traffic accident in Wong Tai Sin

At about 11.11am, a private car driven by a 41-year-old man was travelling along Fei Fung Street towards Ming Fung Street. When approaching Ming Fung Street, it reportedly knocked down the 70-year-old woman who was crossing the road.
Sustaining multiple injuries, the woman was rushed to Kwong Wah Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 11.44am.
The private car driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death and is being detained for further enquiries.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East is underway.
