The Government gazetted today (December 14) the modification to the road works at Kwu Tung North New Development Area and Fanling North New Development Area. The works have been authorised by the Chief Executive in Council.
      
     The works comprise of construction of new carriageways, subways, footbridges, roundabouts, re-provisioned accesses, noise barriers, footpaths and cycle tracks; road junction improvement works; and reconstruction of existing carriageways, footbridges, footpaths and cycle tracks. Also included is an approximately 4-kilometre long dual two-lane Fanling Bypass Eastern Section connecting Fanling North New Development Area and Fanling Highway. The modification involves revision of the proposed limit of works area and the associated resumption/clearance limit as well as deletion of some land resumption areas.
