ExCo Non-official Members saddened by passing of Dr Chung Sze-yuen

The Non-official Members of the Executive Council (ExCo) today (November 14) expressed profound sadness on the passing of former Convenor of the ExCo Dr Chung Sze-yuen.
The Convenor of the ExCo Non-official Members, Mr Bernard Chan, said, "The passing away of Dr Chung is a great loss to Hong Kong. Dedicating his entire life to serving Hong Kong, he held a number of key positions in public service and spared no efforts in promoting the development of Hong Kong, which earned him the respect of the people from all walks of life, and his passion for serving Hong Kong will be fondly remembered. Being the Convenor of the first ExCo of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, he contributed to the smooth transition of Hong Kong's return to the motherland, and he will be dearly missed by his friends and colleagues."
