Fatal traffic accident in Yuen Long

At about 9pm last night, the 48-year-old man was riding an electrical propelled bicycle travelling along an unnamed road in Wing Ning Tsuen towards Tin Shui Wai, it reportedly hit by a light goods vehicle (LGV).
After the impact, the LGV left the scene.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the cyclist was rushed to Pok Oi Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 9.41pm.
After initial enquiry, police arrested a 55-year-old man for dangerous driving causing death and is being detained for further enquiries.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North is underway.
