Murder in Airport District

At about 10.20am yesterday, Police received a report that a suspected dead body was found in a construction site on East Coast Road.
Police officers sped to the scene and found the man who was wrapped in plastic bags. He was certified dead at scene. The deceased was believed to be an Asian male with tattoo aged between 20 and 50. No identity document was found in his possession.
Post-mortem examination will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of death of the deceased.
Active investigation by the Regional Crime Unit of New Territories South is underway.
