Wise Ride Safe Cycling Carnival 2018 to be held tomorrow

The following is issued on behalf of the Road Safety Council:

     The Road Safety Council (RSC) and New Territories South Traffic Headquarters of the Hong Kong Police Force will jointly hold the Wise Ride Safe Cycling Carnival 2018 at 2pm tomorrow (April 28) at the Cycling Velodrome in Whitehead, Ma On Shan. Members of the public are welcome to attend.

     Highlights will include the exhibition of police motorcycles and bicycles, a cycling safety briefing and a cycling safety barriers competition, athletics tests, a sprint competition, an exhibition on uniforms and equipment of the Hong Kong Cycling Team, and a demonstration performance and experience sharing session by the representative of the Hong Kong Cycling Team, Sarah Lee.

     The ceremony will be officiated by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Traffic New Territories South, Mr Michael Armstrong; the Superintendent of Police, Traffic New Territories South, Mr Michael Yip; Sarah Lee and the registered Level 3 coach of the Cycling Association of Hong Kong, China Limited, Ms Joyce Lai.
