One more autotoll lane to be provided at Cross Harbour Tunnel Toll Plaza Hong Kong-bound from April 29

     The Transport Department (TD) today (April 20) announced that to improve the existing vehicle queuing condition at the Cross Harbour Tunnel Toll Plaza and to meet public demand for using autotoll lanes, one more autotoll lane will be provided at the toll plaza (Hong Kong-bound) from April 29 (Sunday). The new autotoll lane will be implemented on a trial basis in the first month.

     Under this arrangement, the second right toll lane (S9) of the Hong Kong-bound toll plaza will be changed to an autotoll lane. To facilitate the modification works, the lane will be temporarily suspended from 2am to 6am on April 29 and will become an autotoll lane after re-opening.

     Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on-site to guide motorists.
