Public library opening hours for Easter and Ching Ming Festival

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (March 19) that all public libraries will be closed on Good Friday (March 30), while Students' Study Rooms will be open from 8am to 9.30pm.

     Apart from individual libraries' closing days, public library opening hours on the day following Good Friday (March 31), Easter Monday (April 2) and Ching Ming Festival (April 5) will be the same as on other public holidays.

     The Multimedia Information System (MMIS) will be suspended from 9.15pm on March 29 to 9pm on March 30. Library mobile app services, Internet renewal services and other online library services, including the library catalogue, borrowers' record enquiries, reservation of library materials and electronic resources (e-Books and e-Databases) will be suspended from 12.30am to 2pm on March 30.
