The following is issued on behalf of the Community Care Fund Secretariat:
 
     The Community Care Fund (CCF) public consultation session originally scheduled for March 10 (Saturday) will be postponed to a date to be announced.
      
     The purpose of conducting public consultation is to collect general views on the work of the CCF in the coming year from the community and stakeholders, with a view to launching more appropriate assistance programmes. The Financial Secretary has commissioned the CCF to design a caring and sharing programme, funded by the Government, in order to let more people share fruits of economic success. The CCF has decided to postpone the first session of the public consultation.

     The CCF always welcomes members of the public or stakeholders to provide ideas or suggestions on the formulation of new assistance programmes and the work of the CCF through various channels, including the CCF webpage, letters, facsimiles, emails and telephone hotlines. Members of the public may continue to provide views via these channels.
