CS visits disciplined services at boundary control point (with photos)

     The Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Matthew Cheung Kin-chung, this morning (February 16) visited Shenzhen Bay Control Point.

     Accompanied by the Director of Immigration, Mr Erick Tsang, and the Commissioner of Customs and Excise, Mr Hermes Tang, Mr Cheung visited Shenzhen Bay Control Point to inspect the operation of the arrival and departure halls.

     He also met front-line officers of the Immigration Department, Hong Kong Customs, Hong Kong Police Force and Department of Health on duty.

     Mr Cheung thanked them and thousands of Government colleagues most warmly for their dedication in ensuring the smooth operation of all boundary control points and maintaining efficient services to meet the needs arising from heavy passenger and tourist traffic during the Lunar New Year holiday peak period.

     He also expressed heartfelt appreciation to all civil servants and employees in the services sector who keep Hong Kong moving during the Lunar New Year holiday.
