Eugene Pao and Clarence Chang to host "A Jazz Encounter" appreciation talks

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department will present the "A Jazz Encounter" appreciation talks under the "Jazz Up" series in March. The talks will be hosted by renowned jazz musician Eugene Pao and music producer Clarence Chang. Details are as follows:
 
March 14 (Wednesday)
Topic: "Fusion Made Our Days"
 
March 21 (Wednesday)
Topic: "Going Back to the Roots"
 
March 28 (Wednesday)
Topic: "World Jazz Today"
 
     Eugene Pao is one of Hong Kong's most publicly recognised jazz musicians. Pao has been at the vanguard of promoting jazz in the territory through his performances and recordings over the past 30 plus years and has performed at various international jazz festivals.
 
     Clarence Chang, a veteran of Hong Kong's music industry with over 30 years of experience, started his career as a music producer. His production credits include albums for noted local artists and jazz albums for Dave Packer, William Tang and Outlet. Currently, Chang also hosts the radio jazz programme "Jazz Show".
 
     All talks (to be conducted in Cantonese) will be held at 7.30pm at the Lecture Hall of the Hong Kong Space Museum.
