Space Museum launches new 3D dome show "The Man from the 9 Dimensions" (with photos)
***************************************************************

The Hong Kong Space Museum's new 3D dome show, "The Man from the 9 Dimensions", which breaks through boundaries of space and time to unveil mysteries of the universe, will be launched tomorrow (January 1).

In the show, scientists have been hunting a strange being named T.o.E. They believe that all mysteries of the physical world will be solved if they catch him, but whenever they manage to track him down and are just an inch from seizing him, he vanishes into thin air, leaving the scientists in astonishment. The show will take audiences on a fantastical journey to the world of T.o.E. through his cat-and-mouse chase with the scientists and uncover his mysterious background.

"The Man from the 9 Dimensions" traverses space and time, from the world of the infinitesimally small to the vastness of space, and from the present day to the distant past, back to the birth of the universe, examining unravelled mysteries of the universe from the physical perspective.

The 30-minute show will be screened until June 30 at the museum's Stanley Ho Space Theatre. It will be screened daily at 2.40pm and 6.10pm. An additional show at 11.10am will be available on Sundays and public holidays.

Tickets priced at $24 (front stalls) and $32 (stalls) are available at the Hong Kong Space Museum Box Office and URBTIX (www.urbtix.hk). The museum is closed on Tuesdays (except public holidays).
