The Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Matthew Cheung Kin-chung, today (December 18) expressed sorrow over the passing of the Chief Executive Officer of the New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association, Ms Sania Yau, and extended his deepest condolences to Ms Yau's family. 

     "I am profoundly saddened by the passing of Ms Yau. She was an outstanding social worker with whom I worked closely as the former Secretary for Labour and Welfare. She made significant contribution to psychiatric rehabilitation and served on several government committees," Mr Cheung said. 

     "I extend my deepest condolences to Ms Yau's family."
