Past and present of Oi! examined through "CUT & SEA" exhibition (with photos)
*****************************************************************************
The "CUT & SEA" exhibition was unveiled today (December 16) at Oi! in North Point. Organised by Oi!, the exhibition showcases an installation artwork made of lawn and fence to reveal the hidden characteristics of the city, allowing visitors to learn about the relationships among humans, nature and the city.

Created by artist Tobias Klein, the installation artwork "CUT & SEA" opens a 2.5-metre circular cut on the lawn of Oi! and another in the fence. Both can be opened or closed and presented in various appearances, through which visitors can explore the historic elements of Oi! and its special features.

Tobias Klein was born in Bonn, Germany. He obtained a master degree from the Bartlett School of Architecture of University College London. He taught at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London and is currently an assistant professor at the School of Creative Media of the City University of Hong Kong.

The exhibition will run until April 22 next year. For details of the exhibition, please visit www.facebook.com/CUTandSEA or call 2512 3000.

Oi! is located at 12 Oil Street, North Point.
