CS concludes his visit to Beijing (with photo)
**********************************************
Before concluding his visit to Beijing today (December 1), the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Matthew Cheung Kin-chung, called on the Director General of the Department of Regional Economy of the National Development and Reform Commission, Mr Guo Lanfeng, to exchange views on Hong Kong's participation in the country's Belt and Road Initiative and the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area.

Stressing that the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government attached much weight to seizing the unprecedented opportunities arising from both initiatives, Mr Cheung said that the HKSAR Government will leverage Hong Kong's strengths, particularly in areas such as finance and investment, professional services, infrastructure, economic and trade facilitation, project interfacing and dispute resolution, to complement the country's development.

Mr Cheung will return to Hong Kong in the afternoon.
