The following is issued on behalf of the Hong Kong Housing Authority:

     The Annual Report and Financial Statements of the Hong Kong Housing Authority (HA) for the year 2016/17 were published today (November 29) and are available on the Housing Authority/Housing Department (HA/HD) Website.

     "Building for the Community, Fostering Harmony" is the theme of this year's Report. The HA builds public housing on a large scale, adhering to high standards of quality, sustainability and safety, and striving to build harmonious communities.

      A leaflet on our public housing portfolio comes with the Annual Report, showing the geographic distribution of our Home Ownership Scheme courts and public rental housing estates and providing some useful figures about our housing stock. Members of the public are welcome to browse the e-version of the Annual Report on the HA/HD Website (www.housingauthority.gov.hk/mini-site/haar1617/index.html).
