First-Tech Engineering Limited was fined $25,000 at West Kowloon Magistrates' Courts today (November 21) for violation of the Factories and Industrial Undertakings Ordinance. The prosecution was launched by the Labour Department.
 
     The case involved a fatal accident that occurred on June 30, 2016 at a container terminal in Kwai Chung. A worker was electrocuted while he was engaged in electrical wiring work inside the body of a quay crane.
