Special traffic arrangements in the New Territories

     Police will implement special traffic arrangements in the New Territories from tomorrow (November 16) to November 19 to facilitate the holding of Oxfam Trailwalker 2017.

Road closure
------------

     Tai Mong Tsai Road between Pak Tam Chung Physically Handicapped and Able-bodied Site and Sai Kung Sai Wan Road will be intermittently closed from 7.30am to 2.30pm on November 17, except for vehicles with permit.

     Chuk Yeung Road between Shan Liu and Wong Chuk Yeung will be closed from 1pm on November 17 to 6am the following day, except vehicles with permit.

     Golden Hill Road from its junction with Tai Po Road (Sha Tin Heights section) to a point about 20 metres north of the same junction will be closed from 1pm on November 17 to 9pm the following day, except for vehicles with permit.

     Tai Mo Shan Road between Route Twisk and the Tai Mo Shan Weather Radar Station will be closed from 4pm on November 17 to 7am on November 19, except for vehicles with permit.

     Southbound Tai Tong Shan Road from its junction with the entrance of the car park of Tai Tong Barbecue Area Site No.4 to a point about 50 metres north of the same junction will be closed from 6pm on November 17 to 10am on November 19, except for vehicles with permit.

Suspension of car parks

     All parking spaces in the Pak Tam Chung Public Car Park will be suspended from 6pm on November 16 to 6am the following day.

     Half of the parking spaces in Pak Tam Chung Coach Car Park will be suspended from 00.01am to 2.30pm on November 17.

     All parking spaces in the public car park adjacent to Sai Sha Road Barbecue Area Site No.4 will be suspended from 8am on November 17 to 6am the following day.

     All parking spaces in the car park adjacent to Rotary Park, Tai Mo Shan Road will be suspended from 4pm on November 17 to 11pm the following day.

     Actual implementation of the traffic arrangements will be made depending on traffic and crowd conditions in the area. Motorists are advised to exercise tolerance and patience and take heed of instructions of the Police on site.
