Tsuen Wan District Road Safety Carnival successfully held

The following is issued on behalf of the Road Safety Council:
     
     The Road Safety Council and New Territories South Traffic Headquarters of the Hong Kong Police Force jointly held the Tsuen Wan District Road Safety Carnival at Sha Tsui Road Playground in Tsuen Wan this afternoon (November 12).
 
​     The event successfully spread the messages of cycling safety and road safety to the public, and featured a rich programme of performances, games and a road safety education exhibition, as well as an electric car playground for children.

​     Today's ceremony was officiated by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Traffic New Territories South, Mr Michael Armstrong; the Deputy District Commander (Tsuen Wan), Ms Margaret Chiu; the Regional Commander of the Hong Kong Road Safety Patrol (New Territories South Region), Mr Lee Kar-ki; the Chairman of the Tsuen Wan District Council, Mr Chung Wai-ping; the Chairman of the Traffic and Transport Committee of the Tsuen Wan District Council, Mr Lo Siu-kit; and the Assistant District Officer (Tsuen Wan), Mr Gary Chow.
