Hong Kong ICT Awards 2018 invites enrolment

Steered by the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer, the HKICTA 2018 is organised by eight selected local industry associations and professional bodies. To tie in with Hong Kong's development into a smart city, three related award categories have been introduced this year, namely the Smart Living Award, the Smart People Award and the Smart Mobility Award.
The eight award categories of the HKICTA 2018 and their Leading Organisers are:
Smart Business Award Hong Kong Computer Society
Digital Entertainment Award Hong Kong Digital Entertainment Association
FinTech Award The Hong Kong Institute of Bankers
ICT Startup Award Hong Kong Business Angel Network
Smart Living Award Hong Kong Information Technology Federation
Smart People Award The Hong Kong Council of Social Service
Smart Mobility Award GS1 Hong Kong
Student Innovation Award Hong Kong New Emerging Technology
Education Association
A Grand Award will be granted for each of the eight categories. Among them, the Award of the Year will be selected by a Grand Adjudication Panel.
Since its debut in 2006, the HKICTA has endeavoured to recognise and promote outstanding ICT inventions and applications, thereby encouraging constant pursuit of innovation and excellence among Hong Kong's ICT talents and enterprises for better and more creative solutions to meet business and social needs.
