​​An employee was fined $7,000 at West Kowloon Magistrates’ Courts today (October 26) for violation of the Occupational Safety and Health Ordinance. The prosecution was launched by the Labour Department.

     ​​The case involved a fatal accident that occurred in Kwai Chung on February 20, in which a worker was knocked down by a fork-lift truck while he was handling goods in a public open car park. He sustained serious injury and passed away on the same day.
