FS to attend APEC Finance Ministers' Meeting in Hoi An, Vietnam

     The Financial Secretary, Mr Paul Chan, will depart for Hoi An, Vietnam, tomorrow (October 19) to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Finance Ministers’ Meeting (FMM).

     Mr Chan will attend the APEC Finance Ministers’ Retreat this Friday (October 20) and join discussions at various sessions of the FMM on Saturday (October 21). He will also take the opportunity to hold bilateral meetings with other financial officials attending the FMM.

     Mr Chan will return to Hong Kong in the afternoon on October 22.During his absence, the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, Mr James Lau, will act as the Financial Secretary.
