**************************************************

Hongkong Post today (October 3) announced details of the Special Stamps Issuing Programme 2018 and the 2018 Local Standing Order Service (LSOS).

Hongkong Post's Special Stamps Issuing Programme for 2018 boasts a diversity of stamp themes and designs that reflect different facets of Hong Kong, as well as the breadth and depth of Chinese arts and culture. Welcoming the Year of the Dog, the 2018 Lunar New Year Animal Stamp Issue highlights man's best friend. Equally attractive are stylishly designed new stamps focusing on Hong Kong local folk themes; winning entries of the Photography Competition for 2018 Special Stamps; the 150th anniversary of Hong Kong Fire Services; Cantonese opera golden classics; the bicentenary of Ying Wa College; popular Jin Yong novel characters; and sign language and Braille. All of them demonstrate fine examples of Hong Kong's cosmopolitan culture and inclusive spirit. The World Heritage in China Series No. 7 puts the magnificent Temple of Heaven in the spotlight, while the 2018 Children Stamps invite youngsters to create different maths formula with numbers and symbols. Stamp lovers will be thrilled by these exciting offerings.

Advance orders for the Programme can be placed through Hongkong Post's LSOS from today onwards. Those who do so from October 3 to November 5 are eligible to join an incentive scheme and receive attractive gifts. People who order online through Hongkong Post's online stamp advance ordering platform Stamp OnNet (www.stamponnet.hongkongpost.hk) will enjoy extra bonus points.
