Appeal for information on dead body found in Aberdeen (with photos)

     Police today (September 26) appealed to the public for information on a dead body found in Aberdeen on August 24.

     At about 8.30am that day, Police received a report that a man was found floating in the sea off Aberdeen Typhoon Shelter. The man was certified dead at scene.

     The deceased was believed to be a man aged between 50 and 55. He was about 1.65 metres tall and was of medium build with yellow complexion and short black hair. The middle finger of his left hand was broken and believed to be an old wound. He was wearing a striped shirt, grey underwear pants, white socks, a black plastic watch and a black sports shoe on his right foot. No identity document was found in his possession.

     Initial investigation revealed no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

     Anyone who knows the deceased or has any information to offer is urged to contact officers of the Miscellaneous Enquiries Sub-unit of Aberdeen Division on 3660 1370.
