Fatal traffic accident in Tsing Yi
     Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Tsing Yi last night (September 5) in which a 37-year-old man died.

     At about 11.24pm last night, the 37-year-old driver parked his medium goods vehicle (MGV) at a car park on Container Port Road South for maintenance. After he alighted from his vehicle, the MGV reportedly skidded backward and crashed into another MGV nearby. The man was trapped between the two vehicles.

     Sustaining serious head and chest injuries, the man was rushed to the Princess Margaret Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 1.36am today (September 6).

     Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South are underway.
