     Please broadcast the following message as soon as possible and repeat it at suitable intervals:

     As the Hong Kong Observatory has announced that the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 has been issued by the Hong Kong Observatory, the Legislative Council (LegCo) Secretariat announced today (August 23) that the service of the LegCo Public Complaints Office is suspended. Meanwhile, public services in the LegCo Complex, including guided educational tours of the Complex, the LegCo Library, the LegCo Archives and the Children's Corner, are also suspended.
 
     Services will be resumed two hours after the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above is cancelled.  However, if the Signal is cancelled at or after 3pm today, services will be suspended for the whole day.
