Temporary traffic arrangements for tram track renewal works in Wan Chai District from next Monday

     The Transport Department (TD) today (August 9) reminded the public that to facilitate tram track renewal work in Wan Chai District, a section of the offside lane of Wong Nai Chung Road westbound near the Hong Kong Jockey Club will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic (except trams) from about 10am next Monday (August 14) to 11.59pm on August 31 (Thursday) or until the above work is completed.

     Appropriate traffic signs and road markings will be erected on-site to guide motorists. The TD and the Police will closely monitor the traffic situation and implement appropriate measures whenever necessary. Members of the public are advised to be alert to the latest traffic news on radio and television.
