The Government today (August 1) announced the re-appointment of nine serving members to the Health Care and Promotion Committee for a term of one year with effect from August 1, 2017.

     The Committee, chaired by the Under Secretary for Food and Health, is responsible for providing strategic steer for funding health promotion projects, and overseeing the administration of the Health Care and Promotion Scheme including the allocation of funds for approved projects.

     The membership of the Committee with effect from August 1, 2017, is as follows:
