Police appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Hung Hom

At about 9.05am that day, a private car driven by a 51-year-old woman was travelling along Dock Street southbound. When turning right to Bulkeley Street, it reportedly hit the 85-year-old woman who was crossing the road.
Sustaining hip and back injuries, the 85-year-old woman was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in conscious state. She was certified dead at 1.27pm on June 26.
The private car driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death. She was released on bail and is required to report back to police in late-July.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West is underway.
