The Home Affairs Department has so far opened 10 temporary shelters in various districts and 55 people have sought refuge at the shelters.
On air traffic, the Airport Authority Hong Kong reported the delay of 56 flights as at 11am today.
No report of landslide, flooding or fallen tree has been received so far.
