The Hong Kong Deposit Protection Board (the Board) today (July 12) published its Annual Report for 2016-2017. The Report reviews the operations of the Deposit Protection Scheme (the Scheme) in 2016-2017 and highlights the Board's plans for 2017-2018. During the year the Board continued its efforts in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of the Scheme, ensuring depositors can save with confidence at all times.
