STH to visit Israel
     The Secretary for Transport and Housing, Professor Anthony Cheung Bing-leung, will depart Hong Kong for Tel Aviv, Israel, in the early hours tomorrow (June 8) to sign an air services amendment agreement on behalf of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region with the Israeli Minister of Transport, Mr Israel Katz.
     He will also speak at the Belt and Road Initiative seminar co-organised by Cathay Pacific Airways and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, as well as officiate at Cathay Pacific Airways' ceremony to celebrate the launch of direct passenger services between Hong Kong and Tel Aviv.

     Professor Cheung will go to Jerusalem on June 9 to visit a company which specialises in the development of transport technology, and to learn more about the city's development.

     Professor Cheung will return to Hong Kong in the early morning on Sunday (June 11). During his absence, the Under Secretary for Transport and Housing, Mr Yau Shing-mu, will be the Acting Secretary for Transport and Housing.
