Police today (May 29) reclassified a missing person case happened in Tseung Kwan O yesterday (May 28) as murder.

     At about 1.10pm yesterday, Police received a report from the family of a 20-year-old man that the man went missing after he left his residence in Tseung Kwan O on May 27.

     Police found the man at a hillside of Black Hill this morning. He sustained head and neck injuries and was certified dead at scene. Initial investigation revealed that he was attacked by someone with sharp objects.

     Police later arrested two men, aged 21 and 27, in Tseung Kwan O and a 21-year-old man in Sai Kung for murder. They are being detained for further enquiries.

     Post-mortem examinations will be conducted on the deceased to ascertain the cause of death.

     Active investigation by the Regional Crime Unit of Kowloon East is underway.
