LegCo Members conduct site visit on issues relating to conservation of cattle (with photos)

The following is issued on behalf of the Legislative Council Secretariat:

     Legislative Council (LegCo) Members conducted a site visit to Sai Kung today (May 20) to follow up on a complaint about the conservation of cattle.
 
     Accompanied by representatives of the Food and Health Bureau, the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department and the Transport Department, Members first observed the ecological environment of the original dwelling places of cattle at Che Ha, Shap Sze Heung, Sai Kung. Members then observed the ecological environment of Chong Hing Water Sports Centre, Sai Kung to see if the site is suitable for the relocation of cattle.
 
     Members who participated in the site visit are LegCo Redress System Duty Roster Member, Mr Leung Yiu-chung (Convenor), and the invited Members, Mr Chan Chi-chuen and Mr Kwong Chun-yu.
