CE meets Prime Minister of Pakistan (with photos/video)

     The Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, met the visiting Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, at Government House this morning (May 17) to exchange views on issues of mutual concern.

     Mr Leung said that Hong Kong endeavours to strengthen its connections with emerging markets and to widen the city's trading network, and he looked forward to deepening the good economic and trade relations between Hong Kong and Pakistan. Mr Leung also said that Hong Kong could act as the "super-connector" for Pakistan enterprises to connect with the market of the Mainland of China and tap into the vast business opportunities under the country's Belt and Road Initiative.
